Crossing off the Truman Parkway

In the 1950s, the I16 highway was built which extended into the heart of our city and created a barrier between downtown and westside neighborhoods.  In the 1990s when the new bridge was built, they made the problem far worse by tying I16 directly into US17/bridge thereby cementing the division between downtown and the westside.

An eastside crossing off the Truman Parkway will reverse this mistake and create new opportunities for all of Savannah.

Say NO to repeating old mistakes.

Say NO to keeping the city divided.
